TRAINING

We Dominate Training. BCI proudly partners with ABC of Greater Houston’s Construction & Maintenance Education Foundation (CMEF). CMEF is accredited by the NCCER, and all of the courses are taught using the nationally standardized NCCER curriculum.

BCI and CMEF uses a competency-based craft training approach in a variety of areas. BCI’s employees progress through a combination of in person classroom, laboratory, and virtual instruction. Included in the training programs are Performance and Knowledge Testing which result in NCCER certification where applicable. These programs are ideal for workers new to the industry, task training existing workers, and upgrading existing craftsmen. BCI’s employees are trained to NCCER Nationally Standardized Craft Curriculum and are taught by certified instructors.

Our goal is to recruit new entrants and upskill existing workers through a variety of programs focused on assessment, training, and continuing education. We believe that a community approach to training is fundamental to developing a skilled and educated craft workforce within the entire industry.
